Miss Phoebe Wells Called To Rest Monday
Miss Phoebe Wells, 80, former resident of the community northeast of Elwood, died at the home of a niece, Ms Gladys McCaslin in Marion Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock of infirmities of age and complications.
She had been in failing health several weeks and during the past few days her condition had been critical.
Surviving has one sister, Mrs F. M. McCaslin, of Summitville.
The body was removed to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home here and prepared for burial. Funeral services will be conducted at the M.E. Church in Summitville Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be in the Forrestville cemetery.
