Her surname is spelled Tibbets for the marriage to Amos and Tibbetts for her marriage to Maurice.
Mary told her daughter that Amos died when they divorced, when in fact he remarried and died around 1942.
Mary went on to remarry three more times; once to Richard Fowler (1890, CAN) with whom she is listed in the 1920 census, along with her daughter Georgia. She is then listed in the 1930 census with her daughter's family in New York as Mary McCormack (43, ME) as a result of marrying Maurice McCormack on 10 Jul 1926, where it says she was first married at age 16.

After his divorce from Mary, he remarried Lillian A. Stitham of Bridgewater on 19 Oct 1910. Listed in the 1920 census for Bridgewater, ME as age 38, born in Maine. He is listed with his wife Lillian A. (28, b. Canada) who immigrated in 1902. With them are their children Dorothy E. (8) and William A. (6). He is listed as a carpenter building houses.
