LAWTEYâCarla Sue Wells, 53, passed away on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 in Gainesville after a short bout with cancer. She was born in Denver, Colorado to Mary Lou and Charles Edwin VanVleet on Oct. 22, 1961. Carla was a loving wife to Roy Lewis Wells for the past 31 years. They resided in Lawtey for the last 15 years.
She is survived by: her mother, Mary Lou VanVleet; children, Leamond Ray, 36, Christy Ann, 33, and Curtis Edwin, 32; grandchildren, from Leamond, Mikayla, Nicholas, and Serena; Christy, Jade Marie. We all love you so much, rest in peace. Sweet surrender, no pain.
