She is listed as Fanny M. Roberts, widowed (63, PA) in the 1900 census, with her niece Anna M. Sterling (Jan 1881, PA).

Mrs. Fannie Roberts, widow of the late James Roberts, died at her home near the tunnel last Monday, after an illness of several months. She was a highly respected Christian woman. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Kohn and Mrs. Norman Mott. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 o’clock at the Baptist church. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
