She was the first child born to Ernest Howard and Ruby Black Hufford. She married Edward Walsh (b. 30 Dec 1929, Chicago, Cook Co, IL) in Laguna Beach, California on 7 Feb. 1954. They had five children, Gwen, Steven, Douglas, Kimberly and Sandi Walsh.
