Her first husband was Layfate A. Sherman, married 1 Mar 1898 and with whom she had Lester (Sept 1898, AR), Tom (1902, AR), Harold (1905, AR), and Dallas (1909, AR). They are living with her and her second husband Walter Murry in 1910. Later married S.H. “Jim” Barrack.

Springdale – ‘Special” – Mrs. Maud Elizabeth Deaver Barrack, 71 died at her home here yesterday. She had been in ill health for several years. She was born at Elm Springs February 16, 1881, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Deaver. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Springdale and was an active church worker until she became ill. She came here 25 years ago from Elm Springs.
Survivors are her husband, F.H. Barrack of Springdale; four sons, Leslie W. Sherman of San Antonio, Texas, T.J. Sherman of Bisbee, Ariz. H. B. Sherman and Dallas Barrack of Springdale; three brothers Hunter Deaver of Visalia, Calif. and Frank Deaver of Tulsa. Okla. and Elmer Deaver of Artesia, N.M.; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Webster of Pleasanton, Texas, Mrs. May Young of Independence, Mo., Mrs. Sally Baker of Elm Springs, Mrs. Lillian Sears of Bentonville, and Mrs. Ethel Clottelton of Visalia, Calif. and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements under direction of Callison-Sisco Funeral Home are incomplete.

Listed as Wally K. Murry (Apr 1867, IL), a wood chopper in 1900 Texas census, married 12 yrs with 5 of their 6 children still living. With him is his wife Annie (28, TX) and children Ben (9), William (7), Clara (6), Philip (4), and Bertha (1) - all born in Texas.
In 1910 he is listed in New Mexico as Walter K Murray (45 IL), a carpenter, with his second wife, Maud (29 AR), married 1 month. All 4 of her children were living, but were either not with them, or using his surname. Clara, Bertha and 3 younger children were still living at home.
Apparently died before 1920, when his two youngest children were living in a Methodist orphanage in Louisiana.
