Juanita was born on September 21, 1927 and passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Juanita was a resident of Dyer, Indiana at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband David.
Service will be held on Monday Dec. 22, 2014 at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, Highland, IN with Rev. Warren Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN.

David O. Wells, age 77, of Highland, IN, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Juanita; two sons; David (Sheila) Wells and Richard (Mary) Wells, both of Chesterton; two daughters Nancy (Tom) Jadrnak of Highland and Linda (Jovan) Vercel of Tucson, AZ; 11 grandchildren, Angela, Laura, Beth, Adam, Amber, Jovan, Sarah, Joanna, Ryan, David, and Daniel; two great-grandchildren: Sydney and Faith; two sisters, Lola Wade of Noble, IL and Jessie Greeson of Highland. Preceded in death by parents, William and Maude Wells, and brothers, Henry, Walter, Virgil and Roy Benjamin and two sisters, Ruth and Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fagen-Miller Funeral home, 2828 Highway Ave, Highland, IN, with Rev. Richard Kilpatrick officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Mr. Wells was retired from the Amoco Refinery in Whiting and was formerly employed at the former Sinclair, ARCO and ECI Refinery. He was a Counselor and member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 30 years and served in the U.S. Army in France during World War II.

David Omar Wells, 77
David Omar Wells passed away at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, September 29, 2002, at the home of his son in Chesteton, Ind. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Fagen-Miller Funeral Gardens in Highland, Ind. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Ind.
Mr. Wells was born on November 4, 1924, in Richland County, the son of William Thomas and Maude (Montgomerty) Wells. He married Juanita Wheeler on March 25, 1948, in Hammond Ind. He was a resident of the Calument region for 55 years and was retired from Standard Oil Co. He was a World War II veteran.
Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Juanita Wells, of Highland, Ind; two daughters, Nancy Jadrnak and her husband Tom, of Highland, Ind., and Linda Vercel and her husbvand, Jovan, of Arizona; two sons, David M. Wells and Richard A. Wells, both of Chesteton, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Lola Mae Wade, of Olney, and Jessie M. Greeson, of Highland, Ind., two sister-in-law, Esther Wells, of Olney, and Donna Wheeler, of Hammond, Ind.; and several nieces, and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Henry, Walter, Virgil and Roy (Ben), and two sisters, Elizabeth Gaillard and Ruth Evelyn Henry.
