She is listed in the Lafayette City directories with George up thru 1918, then alone in 1920, as Nellie Tanco (39, IN), divorced and head of household for her daughter Ethel, still in Fairfield, IN as a laborer doing housework - George having married Pearl Hawley on 1 Nov 1920 in St Joseph Co, IN and moved to Sylvania, Lucas Co, OH.
Listed in the Lafayette City Directories as Mrs. Nellie Tanco from 1911; as his ex-wife in 1921, as Mrs. Nellie Tanco in 1924, then as Lucille N. Tanco, saleslady in 1927.
Listed in 1940 as Ida Cravens (52, IN), a widow; head of household for the famiy of her son Albert.

Married, listed as Frank (26, IN) a laborer living with his wife Nellie, and children Albert and Nettie in 1900. Based on census data for daughter Ethel, it appears that his wife was pregnant with Ethel when he died.

Listed in the 1900 census for Fairfield with his mother Maggie (40, IN), 3 brothers and a sister. It says he was born Sept 1883 and both parents were Dutch.
Listed as George Torrenga on the marriage license to Nellie in 1909. And listed with her and her 3 children from Franklin Wells in the 1910 census.
He was living in Lafayette when he registered for the WWI draft, listing his birth in 1884. But may have been separated, as he listed his contact person as daughter Ethel.
They were divorced, and by 1920 George married Pearl and moved to Sylvania, Lucas Co, OH where he is listed as a laborer (35, IN) in a stone plant with Pearl, and daughter Ethel from his marriage with Nellie.
In 1930 he is listed as a barn foreman for a bakery (46, IN) with just Pearl (43, IN). It says he was first married at 17, and she at 33.

George Tanco, Former Resident of City, Dies At Home in Toledo, O.
Word has been received by relatives in Lafayette of the sudden death of George Tanco, 48, a former resident of this city, which occurred September 30 at his home in Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Tanco left Lafayette about ten years ago. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Tanco. Surviving are his widow and a daughter, Ethel, also a sister, Mrs. Henry Optholt and a brother, Benjamin Tanco, of Chicago. Burial took place in Toledo.
