Cupertino man dies in crash on highway
Frank Chavez, 41, of Cupertino was killed early this morning in an automobile accident on Stevens Creek Boulevard near Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, the Santa Clara County Coroners office said. Chavez’s automobile collided with a truck and trailer at 12:15 a.m. on Stevens Creek 400 feet east of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara. Chavez lived at 12102 Tamarind Court, Cupertino.
