Divorced and listed with the married name of Duke, but living with her mother in 1920, working as a cutter in clothing. She was naturalized in 1910.
In 1930 she is married to James F. McConnell (41, PA) and living in Tioga Co, PA where she worked as a bookkeeper for the Telephone Co. Living with them is her mother Agnes (59, CAN). She is listed as first married at age 18, and it appears they have been married 5 yrs.
She and James are still in Gaines, PA in 1940 with her as a telephone operator (46, CAN) having completed 2 yrs of high school.
She is buried with him in Woodlawn National Cemetery, since he served as 1/SGT in the US Air Force.
