In 1910 the three of them are living in Decatur, with Charlie being a salesman.
In 1918, when he registered for the Draft, he was living in Chicago, with his second wife Jeanette Fait and working as a receiving clerk for F. W. Woolworth & Co.
In 1930 he is listed as age 51, married and first married at age 21, living as a roomer with another family, and working as a foreman in a 5 & 10ยข retail business.
