PAULINE WELLS, 79, of Cisne, IL passed away 11:30AM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Cisne Rehab and Healthcare Center.
Pauline was born December 5, 1932 at Enterprise, IL to Rae and Mamie (McCormick) Laird. She married Charles L. Wells March 27, 1955 at Johnsonville, IL.
Pauline was a teller at Mt. Erie State Bank and a homemaker. She collected cook books, loved to read, was a pianist and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Cisne American Legion Auxiliary for 40 years; 55 year member at Elm River Brown Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Elm River Township Clerk for 32 years.
Pauline is survived by her husband Charles; three daughters Janna Pull; Mary Ann Lane; Cara Jo Weaver; two sons Mark and Martin Wells. Eleven grandchildren and three great grand children also survive.
Preceding her in death were four brothers Victor, Raleigh, Charles, and Bill; three sisters Hazel, Lois, and Faye and her parents.
Funeral services for Pauline Wells were held at Hosselton Funeral Home.
Burial was in Laird Cemetery.

CHARLES L. WELLS, 88 of Cisne, IL passed away at 2:40AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Heritage Woods in Flora, IL.
He was born on July 18, 1926 at Mt. Erie, IL to Fred & Ella (VanFossan) Wells. He married Pauline Laird on Mar. 27, 1955 at Johnsonville, IL and she preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 2012.
Charles was a farmer and raised livestock, an oil field pumper and rural mail carrier for Cisne and Mt. Erie for twenty-two years; a member of Cisne American Legion for sixty-three years and a veteran of Korean War where he received the Purple Heart. He accepted Christ as his Savior two weeks ago.
Charles is survived by three daughters Janna (Heino) Pull of Ellisville, MO; Mary Ann (Brian) Lane of Flora, IL and Cara Jo (Kevin) Weaver of Cisne, IL; two sons Mark (Tanya) Wells of Geff, IL and Martin (Susan) Wells of Clayton, NC; one sister Dorothy (Osie) Billington of Olney, IL. Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one on the way also survive.
Preceding him in death was his wife Pauline, two sisters Anna and Bernice, four brothers Glen, Gerald, Harold and Elmo and his parents.
Funeral services for Charles Wells will be at noon Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Laird Cemetery with military rites at the graveside. Visitation will be 10AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
