DANVILLE — Mary Faith Ridgway, 91, passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Danville on May 7, 1924 to Joseph and Donna E. (Emerick) Colopy. She married Rodney Ridgway on July 15, 1941. She was a member of the Danville United Methodist Church, and the Danville American Legion Jospeh Colopy Jr. Post 650. She was a 4-H adviser for 26 years, and worked for 13 years at Lonsinger Pharmacy, where she retired from in 1979.
Surviving are her children, Rebecca (Ron) Lock of Kentucky, Bill (Mary) Ridgway of Howard, Tom (Diane) Ridgway of Danville, Marcia (Lon) Lepley of Howard, Marilyn Roberts of Danville, Steven (Sandy) Ridgway of Galena, Marie (Tim) Blubaugh of Howard, and Lisa (Jim) Blaisdell of Howard; 32 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren, with three more on the way; and a sister, Nancy Hamm.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Cynthia Ridgway and Mary Lee Kirk; a son, Joseph Ridgway; brothers, Joe and David Colopy; and three grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held in Workman Cemetery, at 11 a.m., on Thursday. Pastor Ruth Douglas will officiate. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the Fischer Funeral Home, 403 High St., Danville.
