Ruth graduated from the University of Michigan in 1926 with a degree in Education. She taught in the Toledo Public School System for many years, earlier at Raymer, Cherry and Glenwood Schools, and later at Deveaux and finally at Elmhurst, retiring in 1965.
Married John Millard Ehni; she was an elementary school teacher, and a widow at the time of her death.
