Living with her are Hoffman Rickert (19, LA) and sister Mabel Rickert (12, LA) who are listed as boarders, not relatives, and whose parents were born in Louisiana. It also says that she immigrated in 1860 and was married in 1880.

RICKERT - On Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1915, at 10:15 a. m., WIDOW JOSEPH RICKERT, age 83 years, a native of Germany, and a resident of this city for the past 52 years.
The relatives, friends and acquaintances of the family, also the officers and members of the St. Helena Ladies' Society of St. Boniface Church, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place This (Thursday) Morning at 10 o'clock, from the residence of her nephew, William Rickert, 2300 Bienville, corner Miro street. Interment in St. Roch Cemetery.
