Lyndon was the son of Harrison and Sarah (White) Hill. He was married twice. In 1886, he married his first wife, Mary Elizabeth (Liza) Scott, and they had at least 5 children. Lyndon was a farmer and raised horses to race like his father Harrison Henry.
Mary died and later he married his second wife, a widow, Martha Bushnoe Barcomb. Lyndon was survived by son, Parker Hill; and 3 daughters, Mrs. Leslie Hill, Mrs. Fred Cushman, Mrs. Frank LaBarge.
