Washington Presbyterian Pastor and Miss Ruth Junk Married. (Special to The Washington Post)
Washington, Pa., Oct. 10. - At the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Louisa M. Junk, 52 South Wade avenue, this evening was solemnized the marriage of Miss Ruth Junk, and the Rev. J. Alvin Campbell, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington, D. C. The marriage service was read by the Rev. Pressly Thompson, of the Second United Presbyterian Church here. Miss Junk was given away by her mother.
Mrs. Campbell, who is a former Washington Seminary girl, is well known in Washington social and church circles. The Rev. Mr. Campbell is a Westminster College graduate, and completed his theological education at the Allegheny Seminary. He was formerly pastor of the Cross Roads United Presbyterian Church, near here.
