She married James I. Carr (1842, IN), a farmer, and is listed with him in the 1880 census, still in Decatur Co. Sarah (30, IN) also has children Moses (5), George (3) and Margaret (1). There is also an Orion Carr (18) with them who may be a brother, even though he is listed as a son (or from a prior marriage).
Her death certificate under the name Sarah Jane Carr lists her “parents” as Margaret McDonald (her step mother) and Mr. Smith, Margaret’s husband after Moses Land died (where the informant was Mrs. John Owens).
