Marjorie S. Wells, 88, of Kearney, Missouri, passed away on September 10, 2023, at Estoria Long Term Care from natural causes.
Ms. Wells was born December 31, 1935, in Rock Port, Missouri. Sue Wells worked at TWA and World Span. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, bird watching, and camping.
She is survived by Michele Swartz, Debby Doiel, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Savannah, Missouri.

Gordon L. Wells, 83, of Savannah, MO, passed away October 30, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO.
A visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO; followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Platte City Cemetery.
Gordon was born January 22, 1930 in Iowa City, IA to Wilbur Lee and Edith Charlott (Lonn) Wells.
Over the years, he lived in Minnesota, Nebraska City, Camden Point, Platte City, and Savannah, MO areas. Gordon was a member of the Christ’s Church of Savannah. He spent many years actively engaged in missionary work throughout the world, including: Australia, Jamaica, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt, Italy, and England. Gordon was employed as a parts manager for TWA.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son John G. Wells; and 2 brothers Eldwin and Andy Wells.
Gordon is survived by: 2 daughters Michele (Robert) Swartz of Savannah, and Debby Doiel of Kearney, MO; his sister Mardine Price of Iowa City; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
