Curtis Wells
The funeral of the late Curtis Wells, aged thirty-eight years, grocer, at the corner of Division and
York streets, took place from his brother-in-law's residence, No. 102 Wellington street, Monday, at two o'clock, It was of a private nature, attended by friends and relatives from Dundas county, his birth place, also his sister from Stormont county and his brother and family from Belleville, also his aged mother from Aultsville.
Mr. Wells had suffered a severe attack of influenza and died of heart failure just when he was thought to be practically out of danger. He had lived in the city for the past ten years and during the past eighteen months had been conducting a very successful grocery business. He was of an amiable nature and had made very many staunch friends.
He is survived by his wife and two young children, Reginald, aged nine, and Kathleen, aged six.
The body was interred in Cataraqui cemetery.
