Helen Sophia Loken, 90, Fargo, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Elim Nursing Home, Fargo. Helen Bruns was born Oct. 22, 1916, in Des Moines, Iowa. She lived with her family in Hastings, Leeds, and Oriska, all N.D. She graduated from Oriska High School. On Nov. 9, 1936, she married Oscar Loken in Valley City, N.D. They farmed in Oriska. In 1951, they moved to Tower City, N.D., where they owned and operated Loken Hardware. Mr. Loken died in 1990. In 1994, she moved to Fargo. She moved to Waterford at Harwood Groves, Fargo, in 1999. She spent winters in Arizona. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette (Maynard) Satrom, Oriska, Arlyss (Richard) Grosz, Erie, Colo.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
