He is listed as Theodore in 1910 census and WWI Draft registration, but then as T. Peter in the 1920 census, while attending the state college. Listed again as Theodore in 1930, with his parents.
Theodore was a much loved family physician in Ada, Minnesota; and was the deputy coroner there in 1947. He had an early stroke and was disabled for his last 25 years. He married Lina Moe, a nurse.

Dr. Theodore Loken, 88, of Ada, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 14, 1989, after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 23, 1900, at Pierpont, South Dakota, the son of Mikkel and Olga "Langenhaug" Loken.
Dr. Loken attended rural school near Pierpont, and then went on to Aberdeen Normal School, from which he graduated. He then attended Northern University at Vermillion, South Dakota, and also served in the Army Reserve. In 1932, he graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, and served his internship from 1932 to 1933, at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis. He then was a member of the Conservation Corps from 1933 to 1934, and then came to Ada, where he practiced medicine from 1934 until 1966.
Dr. Loken was Grand Marshall of the Ada Centennial Parade in 1976, was physician and surgeon for the Great Northern Railroad, served for a time as Norman County Coroner, and received the first annual Outstanding Citizen Award from the Norman County Farm Bureau.
He married Lina Virginia Moe on September 5, 1935, at Chicago, Illinois, and she survives, along with four daughters and their husbands - Audrey and Pastor Glenn Anderson, Lake Park; Maxine and Donald Fuller, Aurora Illinois; Margaret and Bruce Marshall, Kettle River, Minnesota; Dr. Elizabeth and Pastor James T. Loken-Egdahl, Redondo Beach, California; four brothers - Palmer, Bristol, South Dakota; Melvin, Valley City, North Dakota; Oscar, Tower City, North Dakota; Dr. Selmer, Newport; five sisters - Gina "Mrs. Elmer" Skaare, Bristol, South Dakota; Pauline "Mrs. Arthur" Fosheim, Valley City, North Dakota; Minnie Sivertsen, Miller, South Dakota; Tillia "Mrs. Harry" Svien, Webster, South Dakota; Gladys Acker, Fargo, North Dakota; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer; and one sister, Clara.
