Clarence L. Coryea Dies
Malone - Clarence L. Coryea, 62, of 23 Raymond St., was dead on arrival at Alice Hyde Hospital at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, of a heart attack. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Notre Dame Church here. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends may call at the St. Mary and Murphy Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Coryea; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Coryea, Malone; four sons, Ronald with the Air Force in Thailand, Richard and Gerald - Watertown, and Robert - Malone; a daughter Mrs. Allen (Sharon) Bassett, Malone; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Gladys) Marlow, Unionville, CT and Mrs. Lucille Ryan, Enfield, CT; two brothers, James - Brushten, and Ralph - Constable; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Malone, June 21, 1912, as son of John and Marcina Charland Coryea, he was a graduate of the Adirondack Business School and married Grace Wells in Malone on May 30, 1931.
