Patricia (Pat) Bankert, 75, of Zionsville, IN passed away on May 21, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W Bankert Sr., granddaughter, Erin Russell, Brother Harry (Penny) Bevins and Sister Elizabeth (Betty) Wright.
She is survived by sons John (Lori), Bob (Roxanne) and Greg (Lora) Bankert, daughters Cindy (Tracy) Ferch and Kathy (Jay) Gwaltney, and adopted daughter Denise Gillette, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and quasi adopted family of all categories.
She was known as Mom, Grandma, Grandma Pat, Grandma B, Momma Pat and Aunt Pat among others, by those who knew and loved her and who were loved by her.
She was the motivation for the Country Market on Highway 421 in Zionsville which allowed her to express her gift for giving and interact with the community. She most recently attended Zionsville Fellowship Church after having served at Big Springs Community Church for over 35 years.
