Mrs. Mary Snyder
Mrs. Mary E. Snyder, 81, a native of Glenmont, died at 4 a.m. at her home on Killbuck Rt 1 following a two year illness.
She was born June 8, 1872, a daughter of Victor and Elizabeth Fry Blanchard and was married Dec. 13, 1899, to Henry F. Snyder, who died July 26, 1943.
The survivors are three daughters Mrs. George Cullen, Millersburg Rt 1, Mrs. Elmer Thomas and Miss Dottie Snyder, Killbuck Rt 1; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and 15 step-great-grandchildren. One sister, four brothers, one son and one daughter are deceased.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Elliot-Myers funeral home in Millersburg with Rev. Richard Hawkins of the Killbuck Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in the Oakhill cemetery in Millersburg.
