Jeffrey L. Wells age 71 of Dixon died on Wed. Aug 4, 2021 at his home. He was born on Jan. 21, 1950 in Dixon, IL the son of Lamar and Ethel (Trotter) Wells. Jeff owned and operated Ka-Mar Electric Motor Shop and Jeff Wells Electric both in Sterling. He married Christine Nelson in Morrison, IL in Nov. of 1986.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Christine, children Todd (Amber) Wells of Rockford, Ami (David) Vautsmeier of Freeport, Jennifer Wells of Rock Falls, stepson Dean (Talea) Nelson of Chadwick, and 11 grandchildren including Brody, Taylor, Derek, Autumn, Katelyn, Charlotte, Bryson, and Sage. Jeff is also survived by his 2 sisters Joanne (Larry) Stern of Rockford, Susan (Ben) Bonales of Lindenhurst, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation rites have been accorded with a burial of remains to be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling at a later date. A memorial has been established.
