In 1940 he is listed as a mechanic (35, PA) in the coal mines, with his wife Helen (36, PA). He had 2 yrs of high school education, and they have been living in Star Junction in 1935.
He and his (2nd) wife, Helen M., signed the deed to sell the family homestead in 1947 while living in Perry Twp, Fayette Co, PA. They had no children.

Paul C Wells
Paul C Wells, 53, of Crafton, former resident of Jefferson Township (Perryoplois R D 1) died at 2 p. m. Thursday in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs Ada Guseman of Star Junction and Mrs Jane Deyarmon of Crafton; one niece and two nephews.
The body will be at the Blair Funeral Home Perryopolis after 7 o'clock this evening.
