Born 1754, baptized 17 July 1754, the son of Adam Snyder and Catrina.
Adam Snyder, U.E.L., a Revolutionary War soldier, enlisted 22 May 1780, and served in the First Battalion of Sir John Johnson's King's Royal Regiment of New York until the reduction on Dec. 23, 1783. Adam Snyder drew for land as a Loyalist, and settled in Royal Twp. 4, Williamsburg Township.
