Misc. Notes
Listed as Abraham thru 1940, then Albert the rest of his life.
Military lists his birth as Feb 8th, SSDI lists Feb 10th.
Still single, living at home with his parents at age 29 in 1940 census.
Al married a woman named Edith. They never had children.
He served in the military 30 Sep 1942 - 29 Apr 1945
She was quite a character and from stories I remember I don't think my grandparents were very happy that he married her. They lived on Valentine Ave. in the Bronx, not far from where we lived on the Grand Concourse. Al worked for Lerners clothing store. We never got together too often with them. Unfortunately Morris and Al had a falling out over some stupid incident which was heartbreaking for my mother who tried numerous times to get them to reconcile.
