DANVILLE
Mrs. Julia A. Cooper, 90, of Danville, died at 4 a.m. today at Lakeview Nursing Home here. She was born May 1, 1890 in Coshocton County to Amos B. and Sarah J. Peters Giauque. She was married in 1922 to Carroll Wilbert Cooper. He died Jan. 20. 1963. She formerly taught school in one-room schoolhouses in Coshocton County, and was a member of the Danville Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, Loring Cooper of Frazeysburg and Melvin Gaylord Cooper of Danville; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Harry (Vera) Muck of Rutledge Road in Howard and Mrs. Leonard (Alice) Brown of Route 1 Brinkhaven; two stepsons, Chester Cooper of Route 2 Killbuck and Alva Cooper of Route 2 Danville; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Lenie) Weaver of Fredicksburg; a brother, Emerson Giauque of Killbuck; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 27 step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild. A stepson, two sisters and a brother are deceased. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Danville Church of Christ with Rev. Lawrence Hays officiating. Burial will be in Tiverton Cemetery. Visitation at the Fischer Funeral Home here will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and one hour trior to services at the church Friday.

Carroll Cooper
Carroll W. Cooper, 72, Walhonding Route 2, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the home of his son, Melvin Cooper, Warsaw Route 2. A retired Monroe township farmer, he was born May 5, 1890, in Coshocton county, a son of Francis and Suzannah Matheny Cooper. Mr. Cooper was twice married, first to Bertha Richards on 25 Dec 1911, who died in 1921, and in 1922 to Julia Giauque, who survives. He was a member of the Upper Tiverton Church of Christ.
Surviving are five sons, Chester of Kulbuck Route 2, Alva of Howard and Wilbert of West Lafayette, by the first marriage; then Loring of Howard Route 2 and Melvin of Warsaw Route 2, by the second marriage; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Brown, Brinkhaven Route 1, and Mrs. Vera Muck of Mt. Vernon Route 5, both by the first marriage; a brother, Lester, Howard Route 1; 25 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A brother and sister are deceased. Services will be conducted at the Tiverton church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Lawrence Hays. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours at the Fischer funeral home, Warsaw, will be 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
