Gerald G. "Gerry" Gascho, 73, of Rossville, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014, at his home in Rossville.
He was born October 17, 1940 in Mulberry, the son of Alpha R. and Vela Bell Gascho. He married Rita Rumper in 1976. She preceded him in death July 31, 1995.
He is survived by two children, Steve Gascho and Rebecca (Paul) Marsh; three brothers, Ron (Vicki) Gascho, Samuel (Jean) Gascho and Roger (Dedger) Gascho; two sisters, Wilma Roush and Anne (George) Glick; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Rossville High School in 1958 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from San Jose State. He retired from the United States Navy in 1991 after serving our country for 28-1/2 years. Part of his service time was during the Vietnam War.
