Mrs. Rose Finnigan
Mrs. Rose Ann Finnigan. 73, of 1003 Country Club drive was dead on arrival at 1:50 a.m. Sunday (May 16) at Good Samaritan Hospital. She had been in ill health two years.
Mrs. Finnigan was born Jan. 2, 1893, at Logan, daughter of John and Sarah Busby Sheets. She spent most of her life in the Zanesville area.
She retired four years ago after serving as a pastry baker at old Bailey Drug Store and later at
Chuck Wagon Restaurant.
Mrs. Finnigan was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
Her husband, Joseph Finnigan, a Spanish American War veteran, died in 1955.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Sarah Gadd of 955 Greenwood avenue, Mrs. Clara Dickerson of El Paso, Tex., Mrs. Mary C. Patch of Newark and Miss Rose M. Finnigan of the home; a son, James Simeral of Roseville: two step daughters, Mrs. Catherine Pott and Mrs. Lucile Brammer, both of Columbus: two brothers, Amos and Eli Sheets, both of Detroit, Mich: 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The body is at Byers Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
