Mrs. Mary Friley Dies In Canton
Mrs. Mary Friley, 84, died Tuesday at the home of her son, Clifford of 603 Bank place, S.W., Canton, where she had been living for four weeks. She had been bedfast for three months. A native of near South Webster, she had lived near Byesville until 11 years ago when she moved to the home of her son, Manuel of East Sparta, Mrs. Friley was a member of the Assembly of God church in Byesville.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nora Clark of East Sparta; five sons, Clifford and William of Canton, Herbert of Columbus, Reuben of Logan, and Manuel of East Sparta; a sister, Mrs, Minnie Yeley of Wheelersburg; a brother, Philip McCammon of Des Moines, la.; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. . The body is at the Herlan funeral home, Byesville. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock In the Trinity Methodist church, Byesville. Rev, Fontella Lynn will officiate, and burial will be in Pleasant City cemetery.
