THOMAS M. DAVIS
79 years old, died early Friday morning at his home nepr Blackgum, following a short illness. Mr. Davis was born at White County, Tennessee, March 18, 1857 having moved to Blackgum about 33 years ago. Mr. Davis was engaged in farming.
Surviving relatives are his widow. 6 sons, 2 brothers, 49 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. D. O. Callahan in the Box cemetery. Interment was in the Box cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Funeral home.
