Robert K. Downs
Robert K. Downs, aged 67, a resident of Rock Island for many years, died at 12:45 o'clock this noon at his home, 1517 Fourteenth-and-a-half street. His death followed an Illness of several years.
Mr. Downs was born in Mercer county, Pennsylvania, and moved to Aledo with his parents when he waa a young boy. Later in life he came to Rack Island, and had lived in the city the greater part of his life. He had worked at the carpenter trade for a long time prior to his illness.
He was married to Miss Emma Nice of Milan, when he first came to the city, and she survives him. The funeral arrangements have not been made.
