HARRIET HORSEY RITES SATURDAY
Body of 76-Year-Old Local Woman to Be at Home of Son Friday
Private funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Ella Horsey, 76 who died today at 5 a. m. of complications incident to the infirmities of age, will be held Saturday at 10 a. m. in the home of her son, Jay Horsey, 631 Riverside avenue. The body will remain in the funeral parlors of Smith Brothers until Friday at 2:30 p. m. when It will be taken to Mr. Horsey's residence. Rev. Garrison Roebuck, pastor of the United Brethren church, will conduct the rites and burial will be made in Riverside cemetery.
Mrs. Horsey was born on Feb. 20, 1857. a daughter of the late Homer and Samantha Moats and had lived her entire life in Defiance county. Her husband, James Horsey, died Aug. 23 1924. Mrs Horsey leaves her son, Jay Horsey; and two sisters, Eva and Margaret. Two children preceded the mother in death. a son in infancy and a daughter, Mrs Ethel Hall, on Nov. 30 1929.
