Gonsiorowski, Valerian F. age 64 of Hammond, Indiana passed away Saturday, May 9, 1987 at his residence.
Survivors: wife, Eleanor (nee Witke); four daughters, Gloria (George) Whiddon of Hammond, Valerie Ensign of Hinsdale, Illinois, Donna (James) Wells and Linda (Steve) Orban, both of Hammond; two sons, Ronald Gonsiorowski of Chicago, Illinois and Martin Gonsiorowski of Hammond; nine grandchildren; one great grand-daughter; two sisters, Angeline (Frank) Duracz and Adeline (Walter) Lachut, both of Hammond; many nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Kathryn Jezuit of Whiting; dear friend, William Rogers of Chicago.
Mr. Gonsiorowski was a lifelong Hammond resident; retired employee of Badall Engineering, Hammond with 35 years of service; Army Veteran World War II; and a member of the D.A.V. and P.N.A.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 1987 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Hammond (2 blks east of Hohman, 1 block north of Gostlin) 10 a.m. Mass St. Casimir Church with Msgr. Casimir Senderak V.G. officiating. Burial, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois. Visitation Monday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Liturgical Wake Service Monday 2:30 p.m.
