DAVID A. ALMOND
ALBEMARLE, May 6.- David A. Almond, retired Stanly county farmer, died this afternoon at 1 o'clock foliowing a stroke of paralysis. He had been ill for about a year. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at Canton Baptist church, and interment will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are a son, B. L. Almond, of Landis; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Bennick and Mrs. Gray Ficks, of Concord, and Mrs. Donnie Wells, of Kannapolis; three brothers, P.A. Almond of Albemarle, L.A. Almond of Palmerville, and Verdie Almond of Badin, and a sister, Mrs. Lee Hinson of Albemarle.
