Frances Joann Wells Seay, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Universal Healthcare, Concord, NC after period of declining health.
She was born November 13, 1931 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of William Isaac Wells and Donnie Almond Wells.
Jo was a 1950 graduate of A.L. Brown High School. Jo was employed for many years as a real estate saleswoman having worked in sales in Charlotte, NC where she retired in 1983.
She was a member of Royal Oaks Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC and had been active with other Baptist churches in the area throughout the years. She is remembered as a lady that loved helping others, working on previous Red Cross disaster relief teams, and even participated with the local Cabarrus Meals On Wheels program.
The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Revs. Leon Smith and Tim Yates. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC.
