Mrs Annie Pearl Bryson Wells 1317 Winfield Dr 79 died Monday morning at her home after an illness of two months Mrs Wells was born March 8 1906 in Silva to Alfred Fernando and Thursey Clementine Buchanan Bryson. She was an active member of Pleasant View Baptist Church where she was a lifelong member of the choir, was a church reporter and had taught Sunday School for 10 years. She was married in November of 1927 to Alonzo Asbury Wells who preceded her in death in February of 1984. She worked for 18 years for Reynolds Tobacco Co. Surviving are a daughter Mrs Nina Wells Cooper 4933 Kaysboro Dr

WELLS, Mr. Alonza A. Age 78, Winston Salem, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, February 21, 1984 following a brief illness at Forsythe Hospital.. Survived by wife, Mrs. Annie Bryson Wells, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Nina Wells Cooper, Winston-Salem; two sons, Howard A. Wells, Nashville, Dick Wells, Greensboro, N.C.; eight grandchildren; Brenda Wells Potts, Mrs. Kimberly Wells Neal both of Nashville; one great grandchild; one brother, John T. Wells, Courtney, N.C.
Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Interment Crestview Memorial Park. The Family will be at Vogler Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolds Rd from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
