Lula Mae Wells Joyner peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2015. Lula was born April 17, 1932 to John Thomas Wells and Beulah Reavis Wells. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Mocksville, NC.
In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her husband Claude William Joyner and sister Dorothy Wells Collins. She is survived by her sons; Tommy (Ann) Joyner, Dean (Vicky) Joyner and a daughter Lou Ann (Bill) Reavis; A very special friend Archie Hanes. Grandchildren; Jennifer (Jimmy) Ransom, Chad Reavis, Brooke (Kevin) Jennings, Matthew Joyner, Rebecca (Jacob) Swaim, and Nathan (Amanda) Joyner; Two Step grandchildren Jeff (Kelly) Wallace and Todd (Dottie) Wallace, 10 great grandchildren and a brother William Leon Wells.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00PM at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Blackburn and Brother Noel Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
