WELLS, Ariel (nee Holbrook)
Peacefully in hospital on Friday June 8, 2001 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late James Little and the late Ernest Wells. Predeceased by her parents, two brothers and her infant daughter Carol. She is survived by a nephew Clive Holbrook and his wife Joy of Picton and by great nephews Terry, Alan and Wayne. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Homes, Westboro Chapel, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel Monday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated.

All their children were born around Aultsville - which was flooded during the [St Lawrence] Sea Way construction in the late 1950s and all that remains are foundations that poke up out of the water.

Beloved husband of Ariel Holbrook and the late Laura Deeks. Dear father of Beverly Mrs. William Paul - Crysler, Deanna Mrs. Edward Foster- Morrisburg, Marilyn Wells and husband Robert - Edmonton Alberta, Kaye Mrs. Drew Fraser - Sydney Australia, Allan, Dale, Brian - R.R. 1 Morrisburg, Gordon and wife Marion - Cornwall, Arthur and wife Heather - Brockville, Roger and wife Laurie - El Paso Texas, Philip and wife Lori, Brockville. Brother of Della Wells - Ottawa. Predeceased by sister Mabel Carr. Survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Resting at the Brownlee Funeral Home, Maple St Ingleside Ont. from 2 pm on Wednesday June 23 from where the service will be held on Thursday June 24, 1993 at 2 pm. Interment in the Saint Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery, Ingleside Ont. Family in attendance on Wednesday June 23 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
