OLIVER J. GRICE SUCCUMBS SUNDAY
Well-Known Mansfielder Dies Following Lingering Illness
Oliver J. Grice, aged 59 ycars, died Sunday morning at his home, 96 E. Luther-pl. • after several months illness.
Mr. Grice was born near Bellville, the son of Caleb and Margaret Ann (Miller) Grice. He spent his entire life in Richland county. Mr. Grice was a member of the Bellville Christian church and Mansfield Lodge No. 35, F. and A. M., Mansfield Chapter No. 28, Mansfield Council No. 94 and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil war. For many years he was manager of the S. N. Ford warehouse in Bellville and for the last few years had been employed at the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, by a former marriage. Miss Frank Wells of Bellville and Miss
Josephine Grice of Ann Arbor, Mich., one brother Milton Grice of Shelby: two sisters, Mrs. Earl Kilgore and Mrs. James Coleman, both of Bellville and five grand children.
Private funeral services will be held at the Wappaer Funeral home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. B. F. Hagelbarger, pastor of the First Christian church. Burial will be made in the Mansfield cemetery. Mansfield Lodge No. 35 will have charge of the services at the grave. Friends may call at the home, 96 E. Luther Place, Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
