LDS files erroneously list him as born in 1810 and wife's maiden name as Harriet Lange.
Marriage record lists bond date as 5 Aug 1832, Luther C. Cunard as security; and the marriage on 9 Aug 1832.
1840 census lists Woodford Galloway, wife, 2 boys under 5, 1 boy 5-10, and 1 girl 5-10.
In 1850 he was listed as a laborer with dau Harriet, age 7 and 6 other children.
Said that he knew Joseph Wells from 1852 until his death in 1872 and that they lived nearby and worked together. (Joseph Wells’ pension papers)
1860 shows him as a farmer with dau Harriet, age 19 and 4 other children in Knox Co; including granddaughter Anncenius (2 mos) whose mother (John’s wife) had died the previous month. They apparently moved to Jefferson Twp, Richland Co shortly after 1860, as they are listed there in the 1862 school listing.
1870 shows Woodford (61) and Hariet (62) Galoway (grandparents) taking care of Ida Ellen and Frank, their grandchildren.
1880 census lists Woodford and his wife with son Thomas (age 41), grandson Franklin (age 10), granddaughter Amanda (age 15), and granddaughter Ida E. Moats (age 17).
He and his son Thomas both signed affidavits for Joseph Wells in Jul 1883, substantiating Joseph’s good health before he entered the Army, and ill health when he returned until his death. They were for the pension benefits of Joseph’s widow and son.

She is listed with her husband in the 1880 Census, but he is listed as a widower on a deed in 1888 according to Mary Leavelle.
