Misc. Notes
He is listed as age 5 in the 1850 census, 9 in 1855, 15 in 1860, 25 in 1870, 31 in 1880, and 65 in 1910 - leading me to believe that his birth was in 1845, the year after his parents marriage, rather than the 1842 date on his headstone.
He is generally listed as Francis Eugene Fenton, although his death certificate and headstone show Francis A. Fenton; which may be either a change in what he chose to go by, or lack of knowledge by those who survived him.

Francis and his new wife Caroline, are listed in Pleasant Grove, UT in 1870 with their children William (2) and Mary (2 mos). By 1880, they had added 5 more children to the family, still in Pleasant Grove. They moved to Idaho shortly thereafter but have not been found in the 1900 census.
In 1910 he was widowed and living with the family of his daughter Louisa Bates, husband Thomas, and their 9 children at home.
