Susan Williams has correspondence from Mrs Harry Lesher of Michigan stating: "..Mary Van Note mar. Jonathan Burge [note sp.], had a daughter Mary Hannah who married Daniel Van Note and they had a son James Van Note, who married Elizabeth Johnson. They had a son Daniel Van Note killed in the Rev. [Civil?] War. A daughter, who married J. N. Shaw, and they had 3 children: Lulu Shaw, Sidney OH another dau. & son not married."
