Kathryn Gaddis Moree
FREDERICKTOWN - Kathryn Gaddis Moree, 86, of Yankee St. died Monday evening at her home following a long illness.
She was born April 5, 1908, in Knox County to Jay and Pearl Eller Gaddis and was a life resident of the Fredericktown area. She was a member of the Palmyra Church of Christ and the Berlin Grange.
Surviving are her daughter, Norma Hammer of Mansfield; four granddaughters, Tammy Bohrer of Plano, Texas, Sandy Hammer, Jeffrei Ann Stricker and Sally Sentieri, all of Mansfield; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Mowry of Fredericktown and Pauline Grehl of Columbus; and two brothers, Clark Gaddis of Bellville and Clyde Gaddis of Fredericktown.
Besides her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Glenn Moree, in March of this year; and two sisters, Martha Leedy and Marcella Boner.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral home in Fredericktown, where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. by Dan Noe. Burial will be in Owl Creek Cemetery at Ankenytown.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Knox County or the Palymra Church of Christ.
