In July 1850 he is listed as John S. Vannote (63) a widower when he married Anne (Clayton) Cook (62) also a widow.
He is then listed as John Vannote (65, NJ) in 1850, with new wife Ann (60, NJ) and Catherine Yetman (11, NJ).
John T. Vannote (70, NJ) is listed in 1860 with son Thomas S. (33, NJ) wife Clarissa (22, NJ) and their children Malvina (3) and Jas E. (1). Listed before him is the family of Richard Vannote (51, NJ), and after him is the family of Abraham Vannote (55, NJ).


His death record lists his parents, age, birth and death place along with the fact that he was married when he died.
