Drucilla Vannote daughter of William P & Lydia (Conrow) Vannote was born Feb 17, 1834, in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
On Oct. 14, 1852, she was united in marriage to William Perry Riggs in Bloomington, Il. A short time afterward they moved to Farmer City and resided there 3 yrs. then purchased the farm near Farmer City on which they resided for almost 45 yrs.. Mr. and Mrs. Riggs had 14 children
