Listed with his wife and son in 1900 census for Iowa at 425 S. Capitol, Iowa City. He is born April 1870, married 7 years with only the one child and working as a Hack driver. In 1910 hes is listed as a retail merchant selling groceries. He was still living at the same address in 1915, driving as a Milk Man.
Listed are his wife and son, along with daughter Amber (14). Lloyd and Flora are listed alone in the 1925 census at ages 55 and 52.
Listed in the Iowa City directories with his wife starting with his residence at 17 E. Harrison in 1926, then at 503 S. Clinton from 1928 thru 1938. In 1940 he is listed at 6 E. College, while his wife remained at 503 S. Clinton where she was listed as a widow in 1942 and 1943.
His death record lists his address at 6 E. College and shows him as divorced and a Janitor. He died of Cerebral Hemorrhage, and had Cerebral Arterial Sclerosis. Information was provided by Mrs. R.C. Rea 21 E. Harrison, Iowa City, Iowa.

Lloyd Porch Dies Friday, Funeral Services Will Be Conducted Monday Afternoon.
Lloyd W. Porch, 70, 6 East College street, died in a local hospital late Friday night. He was born in Ohio on April 30, 1870, and has lived in Iowa City for many years. He is survived by one son, Floyd Porch of Rock Island IL, and one daughter, Mrs. R. C. Rea of 21 East Harrison Street. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Hohenschuh mortuary with the Rev. E. E. Dierks officiating. Burial will be at Oakland cemetery. The remains will be at the mortuary until time of the services.
Note: A Legal Notice (Mansfield newspaper article) that Eric Porch found in a scrapbook from Dec 1942 lists Lloyd Porch of Iowa City, Iowa among a long list of other Porch desecendants including the deceased Luke Porch. This indicates that relatives in Ohio may have been unaware of his death.

Deaths: Mrs. Porch Dies; Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. Flora Porch, 87, of 503 South Clinton street, died early today at Mercy Hospital. She was born here November 12, 1872; a daughter of William and Betrice Durham Emmons. She was married to Lloyd Porch in 1894. The couple resided here. Her husband's family for three generations operated a grocery store in the building near the intersection of Clinton and College streets which later was used as the Crandic interurban station. Survivors include one son, Floyd, of Moline, IL four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her husband, one son, one daughter and one brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Oathout funeral chapel with the Rev. G. Thomas Fattaruso, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
